And now we're becalmed! Can you believe it. The sea is mirror like (I have photos) and quite surreal.
We are into day 3 of no wind. We have done some calculations and worked out that we can now motor in (we have 886 miles to go) but only very slowly, even though we are actually supposed to be there today! The engine is at its most efficient at low revs which means low speed and so current ETA according to the GPS is Sunday 12th December - the day of my flight home. As for the forecast, well basically no wind or very light winds for the foreseeable future. Still the crew is still in good spirits. We are reading alot, sunbathing alot, swimming alot and now we have had our half way dinner. We have lots of food and water etc and so there are absolutely no worries there.
